‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’ has always been professed

but seldom practiced. What was dreamt by Mahatma

Gandhi for a Clean India decades back is now being fulfilled

by Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a noble path

of cleanliness and sanitation laid down by Bapu by starting

‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ to fulfil his vision of ‘Clean India’ on

150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

The Prime Minister initiated the campaign by wielding the

broom and cleaning the road himself. This inspired millions of

people across the country who joined him and took the pledge

for a cleaner and greener India.

The people solemnly resolved to not to tolerate anymore dirt

and unhealthy living. They voluntarily stepped out of their

homes and took it as their responsibility to rip the country off

the dirt with just one call from the Prime Minister.
